The Recruitment Process
The Alpha Delta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Omega® is very excited to find new sisters during our recruitments! If you are looking for sisters in Christ that will encourage you in your walk with Jesus, we may be the perfect fit for you!
Recruitment takes place over the course of a week with different events each day. Recruitment is the time to meet sisters. learn about our sorority, and ask any questions you may have about our sisterhood. Join us for as many events as you can. The only event that is mandatory are the Interviews. Ladies in their first semester at CNU are welcome to join!

Monday, September 20 - Info Night

Come and learn everything you need to know about our sisterhood and ask any questions you may have!
Tuesday, September 21 - Philanthropy Night
8:00 pm | Freeman Center Room 101
Learn about our national philanthropy, Ovarian Cancer Awareness, and how Sigma Alpha Omega® supports the cause.
Wednesday, September 22 - Worship Night & Bible Study
8:15 pm | DSU Jefferson Room
Join us for an evening of prayer and diving into the Word of God!
Friday, September 24 - Get to Know the Sisters Night
6:00 pm | Freeman Center Room 101
Come join us for some fun activities that will allow for our sisters and potential new members to get to know each other!
Saturday, September 25 - Interviews
9:00 am | Freeman Center Room 101
We want to meet with each potential new member individually to learn more about you personally!
Following interviews, our chapter will contact you to inform you whether or not you have received a bid to become a candidate!
Sunday, September 26 - Bid Day (Invitation Only)
1:00 pm | DSU Harrison Room
If potential new member candidates accept their bid, they will attend the official Bid Ceremony on Bid Day!
The Candidate Process
After receiving and accepting a bid to join the Alpha Delta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Omega®, you will be a candidate! Candidates will have regular meetings with mentors and big sisters to learn more about SAO and to grow in community.
Upon a vote of the active sisterhood affirming a successful completion of the candidate process, each candidate will be initiated into the sorority as official sisters of Sigma Alpha Omega®!
